Does anyone have any memories or photos of mill Street or the hollow?  Looking for a friend who's family owned the cobblers at the time.

Thank you,  we believe the cobblers was 373 mill Street.
The hollow was a fairground I believe.

Denton st./Mill st. corner.1960

Mill st./Hill st. 1952

Mill st./Northumberlad st.50's

Tried 373 0n google, and it brought me here! No shops at all, now, and the streets been closed off! There's the "Florrie" in the distance!

It's quite a long rd. and further on, there a few small shops.

Surprisingly few pic's around, of the Royal Southern hospital, as it was known? I'm not familiar with that part of the city, but I know the name, mill rd.maternity hospital, so maybe it had it's name changed? demolished in the 70's, I think!
