My weekly bus ticket from Arriva has now gone up to 17. This ticket gets me to anywhere in Liverpool and the Wirral. However, if I pay 50p more, that ticket then gets me to anywhere in Liverpool, Wirral, North West of England and also North Wales! For past 2 weeks I've paid the extra 50p and last week the ticket got me to Chester and this week to Warrington. I'm hoping next weekend to get up early and get the bus to Chester then another one onto Wales, Mold hopefully because there are things I want to see there. Not bad for price eh?  Cool  Cool

I have an over-60s pass.  With it I can travel anywhere in the Merseytravel area - Chester, Ormskirk and Southport, etc. for free.  Smile

If i can, I am going to go to Wales on that ticket, stay for a few days at a B+B, use the ticket all over the place and then use it to get back home again! Might take a few hours but to me, the journey is part of the break away. I love travelling on buses, coaches cars....oh and motorbikes once was...  Very Happy

Howie...another 4 and a bit years and i can have mine though no doubt by then the goal posts will have been moved, they usually are for me. They'll prob cancel them.
I'm such a cynic!  Confused  Rolling Eyes
