  Don`t know much about this band, only that Grapefruit were a London based British band of the late 1960`s.
   Never heard of them until now!
There music vid`s are not to bad...I must admit I have heard worse!

They were "of their time" bringing out psychedelic sounding stuff, and were quite friendly with the Beatles, particularly John! They also have/had connections with the Young brothers, of AC/DC fame!

but personally I think Cathy McGowan seemed more suitable
presenting RSG.

Lucy do you remember the red bull in the Garden Festival (are you even old enough....I am  Laughing ) I took a photo of it in there and this last one was in it's resting place in Otterspool a couple of years ago. I don't know if it is still there.

No I did not know of the Red bull that was in the Garden festival.
 - LOL........oh yes, I am old enough, I was lucky enough to be born in the very LATE 60`s - nineteen .......Not 1860`s hehehe ! Shocked
But I have been told the Red bull is still in Otterspool park.  Very Happy

Further along Riverside drive,you can still see a another remnant of the garden festival, the "Blue Peter" dragon, which is still there,though the area's now private property,awaiting development!

It was lovely to see the snow on Boxing day we had quite a lot in Formby.....when we were travelling home on the Sunday  all the way to the Midlands was like a Winter Wonderland.......then it was as if some one had drawn a line across the country one minute there was loads of snow then nothing
