Comet pan Starrs

Comrt Pan Starrs now visible to us northen hemispher observers
Here is a photograph taken last night not by me. In the coming days/weeks it will climbe higher in the sky and brighten. If you look west tonigh after s*n set it will be just below the Moon you may need binos though

Thats interesting Sousemouse ,thanks or the info,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I must say thouigh that my eyes nearly popped out of my Sleepy head just now when I first read the thread title. for a scary second or two I thought it said.

Jan the sky is still bright while the comet is visible, you will need at lest binocs.
As it moves further away from yhe s*n over the next few weeks,it will be higher  in the sky and brighter so will be visable to the naked eye.
I saw it last night, I did need binos to see it plus i knew exactly where to look
