Did one of my early morning walks

was in Reynolds  park there appear to be lots of what look like entrance steps to large houses which i have never noticed before lots of old walls here are a few but there are lots more

walked through the park and came out the other side to this gem of a house

This photo doesn't it justice it looks far better in real life

The steps that lead to nowhere? I must visit Reynolds park this summer. Thanks for pointing them out SM. Interesting.

Thanks for sharing those pics and info Scousemouse , they were great !
I've not been around that Park, only ever ventured into its front gates area. It appears to be one of those Open spaces used mostly by local residents and is another ' hidden Gem;'
Another estate gifted to the people of Liverpool by its former owners.

I know there was a Mansion house there but was left to go to ruin before being set on fire and eventually demolished.
and before the Reynolds family bought it , there had been a sunken swimming pool in the grounds of what then was called the Dove Park Estate. do you think that low walled area could be the swimming pool .now filled in with soil
