Garden birds and flowers

I have two collared doves who visit me regularly.....along with Fat Larry and the gang other wise know as pigeons....starlings ,blue tits my little Robin.....magpies..you name it they visit my bird tables.... Laughing  Laughing

Lizzie, have you got a bird bath?  We haven't and we haven't had many birds during this hot weather.

Alice I do have a bird bath which is attached to the bird feeder pole thing I have...only problem is when the fat pigeons fly off it they cause the whole thing to shake so all the water slops out.... Rolling Eyes

So I got one of the plastic dishes that you put under plants ..its quite deep and big so I fill that with water and I have put in on an old tree stump ..birdies love have a wash and a brush up in it......and also next doors cat like to drink from it..... Laughing

That's nice Lizzie, how they must love that!  We also have a couple of pidgeons in the garden but they are not able to access the two bird tables or the fat thingy.  They just pick up the bits from the grass.

Thanks. My grandad was a gardenr, he passed on things to mum who then passed them to me.....

It's taking an age tonight to post, I keep getting
