Lunatic Asylum.

This was on the present site of St. George's hall, with St. John's church, in the background.
A shame they demolished it, I think!       Wink

Yes I had seen that Liverpool old pictures website long ago, but had forgotten it.

There seems a mass of information the person behind it has amalgamated and seemingly is prepared to sell copies of them as electronic items.

I did not get as far as seeing prices and am interested to know more, if YOU dear reader have an information.

Meanwhile I was fascinated to see the Lunatic Asylum and nearby buildings. When I was a regular visited to Lime St station and the courts in St George's Hall, I had never appreciated that significant buildings had been replaced in those localities.
