Mount Vernon Convent

"Liverpool Mount Vernon Convent Garden St Ethelburga's Convent, Mount Vernon, Liverpool, was pulled down in the late 1960s to make way for the car park of the new Royal Liverpool Hospital. Date: circa 1930

Nice one Scousemouse , yep that went to make way for the Royal Hospital which itself is due to be knocked down and rebuilt shortly.. not only was the Convent building lost but the similar aged Church of St Jude too

That pic of the convent is beautiful.....shame it went the way of so many of Liverpool’s beautiful old buildings. Crying or Very sad
