Old T.V. Favourites.

What was yours? Why?

I was talking, if you can call posting on the internet talking, in a group on facey. A few old t.v programmes were mentioned and it took me back. I said anybody remember The Champions? Now, I loved this programme, I fancied the American guy, Stuart Damon,  (I was only 6-7) but it was the actress Alexandra Bastedo that I much admired, slim, blond and sexy with special sensory perceptions, I wanted to be her. I was glued to the t.v., even if it was a B+W one, every night that that programme came on. My dad watched it a lot too....he like the lady as well!  Razz Daddy, put ya tongue away!!!  Laughing
I was gutted to be told today that she passed away in January gone.  Sad I'm not sure if I knew and my bad memory doesn't remember or I just didn't get to hear. She lived in teh same place as a friend of mine does and am hoping to get down there for a few days this summer. That place being Worthing, Surrey. (No, not a man,  a female friend!)
I felt so nostalgice, memorys of sat with my bro and my dad watching this that I've just ordered the complete series on dvd off Amazon.

R.I.P. Alexandra, (my daughter's middle name) your devotion to the animal world wont be forgotten.

Ladies and gentlemen, The Champions:

I used to like watching REBUS with Ken Stott.

Detective Inspector John Rebus is the protagonist in the Inspector Rebus series of detective novels by the Scottish writer Ian Rankin, ten of which have so far been televised as Rebus. The novels are mostly set in and around Edinburgh

Great Recollections Barbie. The Champions not one of my faves .. I thought the Actors were all Directed as very very  Wooden characters...very much of its time though,  In my book, Man From Uncle was much better and the Characters all had humour in their personalities.

Valencia I've Not heard of REMUS,
