I wouldn't pay that!
MOJO

It's like anything, would you appreciate the views? If so,you'll think it worthwhile, especially with so many changes in the city, and beyond! If you do go,try to go on a clear day!

Thing is, I'm the only person to have gone to New York City and not gone up the Empire State building. I have a huge fear of heights and am afraid of having a panic attack or fainting whilst on my up to the top.  Rolling Eyes

I need to face my fear but don't fancy doing it in public!  Embarassed

A case of benefits, versus disadvantages, then! It's not worth putting yourself out to that degree,if you're not going to get any enjoyment out of the exercise! Send your son up,to take some pic's! Smile

Barbie you me both....we went to the top of the Empire State Building and the World Trade Centre and I was trembling the whole time........and nearly crying at one point..but like you say I have to face my fears as I am an adrenalin junkie  and I donít care who sees me whimpering.... Mojo, my son would love it, he's been up the Eiffel and looked down through the glass floor with no probs. I'd have died. So yeah, might send him up with my nephew, they both love doing things like this.
Lizzie, I went to the top floor of the hotel I was staying, I think 25 floors high, small for America, but to me, I was up in space! I felt ill, could barely look out the window.
Went to Conway Castle last year and near died walking across the flipping walls....panic set in and everyone was looking at me!  Laughing  Laughing  My son was like near pushing me off..... Laughing  Laughing

I don't like heights either so when my daughter suggested that we have a drink in the Hilton hotel in Manchester on the 23rd floor, I quickly said NO!

I wonder what it is that causes us to be like this? In reality, we know we can't fall, we're inside a building but it doesn't stop me from feeling like I am going to, I go all light headed and faint and then panic sets in.  Embarassed
