Thanks for the Pics Lizzie, I dont watch Simon's Show , but I do know of him and seen him on the Telly on a number of occasions over the years.
He was in the news up here only a few weeks back when he announced the planned opening up his first Restaurant outside of London, and it is to be in Liverpool and opening in December, so if you are up here for Chrimbo you will maybe have the opportunity to meet him once again

here is the Echo Article

I work in a kitchen as you know, Hell's bloody kitchen and last year we had a celeb chef visit the place.
I walked up to him and introduced myself with a friendly smile. He looked at me like I was something from underneath his shoe! I put my hand on my hip, looked him over like he was a piece of shit and turned on my heel and walked away. I ignored him for the rest of the time he was there. Tosser!  q7  q16

You know what is bloody funny? At this moment in time, i have forgotten his name! Ha!
Lizzie

How awful I cannot abide that sort of behaviour in any one no matter who they are or think they are

Good for you for reacting the way you did.........and it is especially funny you cant remember his name.... Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Simon Rimmer was a genuinely nice guy and stood ages having his pic taken with old ladies, babies, some ones dog.......but then he is a Scouser...... Wink

I worked with quite a few chefs over the past 13 years and have to say most of them have been arse holes! Scousers included. The nicest one so far is our new head chef and he is a wooly back!
We had a temp in about 4-5 years ago, she was a Croation....jeez she was scary..... Shocked But she was another one, gave me her mug and told me to put it in the dish wash. I pointed to the direction of the dish washer and said, 'it's over there and walked off'.
I'm nobody's flipping slave/servant!
