Not a place I've been into though Wood Street was a haunt of mine in the 80s .

So sad when your places of your youth disappear. As I said, Wood Street was a haunt of mine, The Wilsons, Cleaveland and The Swan. The Swan is still in existence, still looks like the 1980s bikers place it was inside. I only know that because my son and my nephew go there all these years on.

Of course, the conservation of St Luke's over the road from it will have caused interest. Once Lime Street is upgraded and St Luke's is finished it will be an awesome part of the city.
