The good old days of punk.............

any one old enough to have gone through this phase ..or even wanted too..... Laughing  Laughing

me and my fellow student nurses did..big time.....it was quite funny as we wanted to dye of hair numerous colors but being student nurses we could hardly go on the wards with bright red Mohicans....so we used to use spray on dye......we pierced  our own ears with surgical spirit and a needle just so we could put safety pins though them..... Shocked I have three holes in both ears.....only use one in each these days

I remember my first ever trip to London was during this time.....skinny skinny jeans, mohair jumper leather jacket doc martin boots.....I was only 19 and London was like another world to me.. Laughing

I also remember my dad buying me a nice sensible winter coat...which I promptly swapped for a bright blue plastic see through mac Embarassed

I still cant walk through certain parts of Liverpool without smiling/cringing to my self at the thought of us strutting out stuff..... Rolling Eyes

Our 'home' sister at the nurses home nearly had a heart attack when she saw us going out  on the town....
MOJO

....so you must have gone here?

Barbie

I didn't go to Erics, I went it was Brady's and then when it was The Caves as I was more a biker chick than a punk chick. Fun days though....I wish I could go back, just one more time.

SM, tell us more about your band mate! That's if you want to of course!
