Yes it is nice, I went to a wedding there several years ago  which was very nice!  Creamfields is held on the site, further down from the gold course but they don't half make a mess.  The A56 is full of mud from the fields and wellington books are just thrown all over the roads.  There are nice house opposite and they have to block their driveways.  Terrible mess!  Lord Daresbury must make some money out of it.  I think Creamfield is on next weekend as the signs have already gone up.

In one of the gardens

Barbie

Ohhhhhhh...I'd  like to sit there with my sarnies and a nice cold drink, sunshine and the birds singing. Thanks Alice.
Alice

This is the same garden a few weeks ago when the flowers had just been planted.

Barbie

Lovely. Can see it was a little while ago, some of the trees barely have any leaves. I love the trees in spring time, when they are just budding, it makes me look forwards to the summer.
Thanks for sharing Alice.

Alice

I just love goats, so cute!

Barbie

I'm sure I posted a reply to that peacock photo!  Shocked  I'm sure I said along the lines of, I took some pics of a peacock in Colwyn Bay zoo last week but his feathers were falling out. They'll be back when the mating season returns next year.
Yours is a cracking shot Alice. Beautiful majestic bird.

The noise he was making was quite frightening and very full on!  The peahen took no notice and strolled away.  I thought I was going to witness something I had never seen before!
Barbie

Was it a sort of high pitched cat meow?

I don't think so, it wasn't a pleasant noise at all, very intimidating!  I was so shocked by it all.
Barbie

I can't remember what they sound like, I heard some on the telly, I thought it sounded like a loud meowing noise. Maybe it was something else making that din!

Sadly Daresbury Hall has gone up in flames and arson is suspected.  The photos in the Warrington Guardian are awful to look at.
