he ! he !  .. On the evidence shown in the Photo, your not wrong there MOJO,
it appears like any Commercial Kitchen. This one however is in the same building as the second pic and has prepared food for Royalty, For a Member of the Beatles , For Film Stars and countless other Notables and Civic Dignitaries etc .  There you go. you've got to get it from all those clues mate !.   Laughing

...Valencia is partly on the right track too !

The Registry Office is now Situated within St Georges Hall, A splendid Venue for such an important Ceremony, Don't you think ?.  I believe it is also possible to Hire the Great Hall for the occasion too, and you just can't get any better than that.

Here's one of the Beautiful Concert Hall area....

B.B. is the room used for Births, Marriages and Deaths registery?

Also my neice was married at the registery office in Old Hall Street so has it moved to St. George's Hall?
brainbox

here's a shot of the outside of the room Valencia, it was originally The Grand Jury Room in the days of the Azzise Courts etc. It is the Ceremony Room and on the next floor down is the offices for Births Marriages and Deaths.  It all moved to St Georges Hall a few Months ago from its former site which you mention. i.e. The Cotton Exchange, It was only in the Cotton Exchange -Old Hall Street Less than about 10 years I think, and prior to that it was in Brougham Terrace West Derby Road-Low Hill, and Known affectionately as St Broughams .lol.

You're right Barbie,it's the "Monkswell",a bit further along from the "lock-up". It's quite old,and was probably connected to some sort of religious building, nearby! The now blocked up arch, was an entrance to a pool below!
