Is that inside the Cunard buildng? (Wild guess)

No not Cunard ,but it is good enough for there or even a Museum.
Barbie

Well, give the other members a chance to gues or maybe they even know, before you tell me. I truly don't know.
MOJO

How about India buildings??
brainbox

No. Not India buildings either MOJO,, It is actually high up in the Gift shop Cafe Area on the Ground floor of the World Museum in William Brown Street, It looks very grand for that location, I was wondering whether it was an original feature of when the room was simply part of the ground floor hall of the Museum
I have a longer range shot of it , I will put up today
Barbie

I'd have never guessed Beeb. Tis lovely.
brainbox

Yep spot on. Apparently it was in loads of bits thrown into buckets ready to be skipped when the demolition Contractor decided to contact the museum to see if they wanted it....The Curator of the Museum told me there was also a decorative border around it but it was too far gone to restore so they used bits of it to restore this one with.using old photographs and a specialist Tiler.... Fantastic it is .
Barbie

I googled it's name, saw it was frm Prescot and knew you'd been .... I'm a self confessed cheat....not a super slueth  Laughing

Yep....had 3 hours kip last night, after two hours of tossing and turning I got up and have been up since then. I'm not well and so tired I could cry, but i can't afford to stay off work.  Sad
I have walked past something similar to these on Eaton Road Mojo.
MOJO

Well, to be honest,I've never noticed them before! They are on the central reservation of Aigburth Hall rd,just a bit further along from the remains of Stanlawe Grange, the oldest building on Merseyside! I went down to get some pic's of this,as I was in the area, and noticed these "rocks",which I thought may be the remnants of the larger building that once stood on the site, but who know's????
Sorry the pic's aren't up to much, but I nearly got run down taking these! Laughing

Stanlawe Grange.
