Yet another pub query.....

not that I drank  a lot I hasten to add........ we just were very sociable nurses..... Laughing

Could not afford more than half  a lager and lime

So I am after knowing if a pub called the Sportsman still exists.....it was to the side of the entrance to St Johns Market ..opposite Lime Street.....was such a trendy place to be seen in back in the day

Supercharge they were always playing there just remembered remember the sports car hanging from the ceiling

It was inside St John's precinct Lizzie!

No dont remember it.....I remember the penny farthing for some reason was that near by

I was looking at the Penny today Lizzie....it was advertising free bacon sarnies!  Razz It isn't far from where the Moonstone was, but this is on the outisde of the precinct, as was the Sportsman.


There was a metal penny farthing bike on that wall at one time. I don't know what happened to it.
