Surely you get a few sparrows!  Laughing

They're becoming quite rare now, though nobody seems to know why they're numbers have dropped so dramatically!

Reasons given, true or not, for the disappearance of the sparrow include Magpies killing them and stealing their eggs to eat, the demise of the hedgerows which sparrow like to dwell in , East Anglia was a big culprit here and have decided to start putting them back as mammels such as the door mouse who also inhabited in the hedgerows have also decreased in numbers.
Well it was what I was taught in geography a few years back.

I hate magpies we had two on the back garden fence with a neighbour's cat in between them.  They were trying to annoy him!

Yeah, I have one here that shouts at my cat. Where I work, the magpies chase and kill the squirrels.
