Came along, soon after this accident had occurred, in College road, Crosby, on Friday!
It's normally a road where you have to drive quite slowly, because of parked cars on either side, but this looks like some idiot has gone along at speed, hitting what turned out to be, a female pedestrian, who subsequently died in hospital, then hitting the railings near the roundabout!
You can see the damage to both sides of the vehicle, but I haven't heard anything about the driver, up to now, but whatever, he should be imprisoned, and banned for life!!
You would  think, a walk to the local shop, wouldn't be a problem!
                                                   R.I.P.

Crying or Very sad

I cant look at photos like these anymore without my blood running cold and my stomach turning. Not after what happened to my daughter, or rather, what could have happened. It was bad enough but this poor girl lost her life.
It pises me of to know that when things like this happens, the driver usually gets done for driving without due care and attention.
Not murder or manslaughter...... Evil or Very Mad

Sorry I actually posted these now Barbie, as I'd forgotten what actually happened to you, last week! But, it seems like, yet another brainless act had been committed, resulting in this poor woman's death!
My missus had walked past ,and watched a rather desperate looking copper, giving C.P.R. to the woman, but unfortunately, to no avail, it seems!
No word on the driver so far!?

Don't be, it's all part of life. Your photos have served the purpose of reminding me things could have been worse. I still get tearful but i am an emotional person anyway.
My daughter is still in pain but it will ease.

I'd have collapsed if I'd have seen what your wife did.

The driver, well, I'm sure it's all being summed up by the police. I'll check for any info.

Still no word about the driver who did this, which seems very strange?

Very strange indeed, maybe there are reporting restrictions on it.

Never did hear anything about this, maybe it was her fault.

It does seem odd, that nothing else has been heard, since, that I've heard about, anyway, regardless of the fact that it was "just another accident"!?

Seems a lotof crashes and people getting knocked over lately. Lady in Old Swan was killed by a lorry couple of evenings ago. It's a terrible road anyway and to try to run accross thinking you are faster than the lorry.....she's paid the ultimate price sadly.  Sad
