I do too because I've seen Pye street quite a few times on the net but never as to what it is like today.

These are really great Barbie, Ta for sharing them
q38

Taking the first one first,, as one does....,,,,well I did do Sums in skool yaknow ......but not Engklish. Wink

I wonder why it is 100a, and not 102 ? , the 'a' is generally, but admittedly not always ,reserved for flats above isnt it .
Did you also focus in on the Newspaper poster, its describing a Gas Tragedy in Woolton...or is it A Cab tragedy ?

Wink ...... I wonder if the Coffee House is in brick finish in that first Pic, maybe earlier photos, if found, would show it more clearly.

Woolton Village....no date for first pic,

In this comparison there is Not much changed on the right hand side but the left hand side is totally altered with the new Tesco store occupying the site.

It looks like the original Stone Sets are still there ,but mostly covered by the Tarmac...

Fantastic shot Beeb, did you take it? Wavertree is full of little streets like this, the old cobbles fighting their way through the inferior tarmac.
I didn't realise until you mentioned Tesco just where Pye Street is/was.....
Thanks!
